Solicitors Fees

Conveyancing is the name given to the legal work involved with buying and selling a house. Although not compulsary to use a solicitor to perform the conveyancing, it is advisable. Solicitors fees vary throughout the country and are largely determined by the value of the property, but expect to pay anywhere betwen £250 and £600+vat for the basic conveyancing fees. On top of this you will have to pay for search fees, land registry fees, electronic transfer fees and some solicitors even charge for every additional stamp and envelope they use!!
